FAQ
A business needs a 4★ Google rating and at least five reviews to be listed at all. From there we score on a combination of average rating and total review count. The composite favours businesses with both high ratings AND a meaningful number of reviews — so a 5-star fencing contractor with 3 reviews won't outrank a 4.9-star one with 200. No paid placements, no sponsorship.
Every quarter. If a business drops below 4★ or shuts down, they're removed and the next-best Ayr fencing contractor moves up. Badges already earned remain valid — winning a 2026 Top 5 award doesn't get retroactively revoked.
