"The wrong name was carved on mother's headstone and repaired on site rather than replaced. Due to weathering, the original erroneous name is showing through on the repaired stone leaving the headstone structurally flawed. Disappointed with the long term quality of their stonemasonry repair. REPLY TO Liptons COMMENT below: I personally went into your Gourock Street / Pollokshaws Road business to order the headstone and carefully spelled out my mother's correct name to avoid any mistake. Despite this, the stone was installed with the wrong name. Rather than replacing the incorrectly carved headstone, I had to wait over 6 weeks for an 'in situ' repair. That repair has now weathered, allowing the original incorrect name to show through. This is exactly why the stone should have been replaced rather than repaired, and I am extremely disappointed with the long-term quality of the workmanship."
