What has been funded?
The Scottish Government has committed £3.5 million across Clyde Gateway’s regeneration programme. It will support the next phase of remediation at Shawfield and continued investment around Dalmarnock.
Shawfield has a legacy of Chromium VI contamination. The remediation programme is intended to unlock plots for businesses, housing and infrastructure, with Clyde Gateway currently in phase two of a planned three-phase programme.
