Why it still matters

These are live, dated opportunities rather than general investment announcements. The Perth and Kinross notice also gives firms time to prepare for a substantial maintenance procurement expected in October.

Who this affects

Building-services contractors, principal contractors, ground-investigation specialists, earthworks firms and companies delivering public-building maintenance.

What to do now

  • Open the full notice and documents on Public Contracts Scotland before deciding whether the work fits your business.
  • Record interest where appropriate so that clarifications and deadline changes are not missed.
  • Do not treat the Perth and Kinross advance notice as an open tender; the contract notice is expected on 1 October 2026.

Public-building maintenance in Perth and Kinross

Perth & Kinross Council has issued advance notice of a 13-lot contract for planned and reactive maintenance across its public buildings. The estimated total value is £43.35m, with lots covering electrical systems, alarms, heating, ventilation, lifts, drainage, roofing, joinery, plumbing and other minor works.

The council expects to publish the contract notice on 1 October. A supplier event is scheduled for 4 September at the council’s High Street offices in Perth; firms need to return the registration form supplied with the notice.

Before spending time on a bid

Check the full specification, insurance and experience requirements, the scoring method and the form of contract. Tender dates can change, so use the live Public Contracts Scotland notice as the final source rather than this weekly summary.

How we cover updates
